At a reception held on February 22nd Scalzo Group, of Bethel, was named as one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. Created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group this prestigious award honors and recognizes the best employers in Connecticut, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Scalzo Group was named one of this year’s Best Places to Work in Connecticut in the small company (15 to 199 employees) category.
According to Best Companies Group, “To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements: be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity; be a publicly or privately held business; have a facility in Connecticut; have at least 15 employees in Connecticut and be in business a minimum of 1 year.” Companies from across the state entered and were evaluated on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics as well as an employee survey to measure the overall employee experience. Best Companies Group managed all company registrations, the survey process, data analysis and determined the final rankings.
